SINGLE SWITCH

A standard 1-gang switch is used to control one lighting circuit. • Current Rating: Typically 10 Amps (10AX) for standard lighting. Heavy-duty versions for water heaters or large appliances may be rated at 20A or 45A. • Voltage: Rated for 220V – 250V AC at 50/60Hz. • Functionality: Available as 1-Way (single location control), 2-Way (dual location control), or Intermediate (three or more locations). • Dimensions: Standard plate size is 86mm x 86mm. • Material: Usually made from fire-retardant Polycarbonate or Urea Formaldehyde. • Terminal Capacity: Generally fits 2 x 1.5mm² or 1 x 2.5mm² cables.
